The Good News

The greatest news that has ever been told is that God loved this world and that He sent His only Son to be the sacrifice for our sins on the cross. He paid the ultimate price and debt that we could not pay on our own. He died on the cross, was buried, three days later rose again, and continues to live and reign in Heaven now. If you have never accepted Jesus Christ into your heart and trusted Him as your Savior I would urge you to trust in Him today before it is to late. Please read below to know Christ as your Savior:

1. Sin Affects us all

Romans 3:10

“As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.”

Sin is the breaking of God’s law and it causes man to be separated from God. We are all guilty of breaking the law of God and deserve to be separated from Him for all Eternity. Romans 3:23

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

2. Sin brings death

Romans 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord”

Romans 5:12

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned”

When we sin against God we break His law and we become spiritually dead. Our Spiritual death causes us to be separated from God in Hell for all eternity. There is no escape once one is condemned and sent there. It is important we trust Christ today as our Savior because there is no second chance once we physically die.

3. Jesus Christ died for our sin

Romans 5:8

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

This is the Gospel which means Good News! Jesus lived a life without sin but died in your place to pay for your sins! His shedding of blood and resurrection from the grave bridges the gap between man and God.

So how do you receive this precious gift that Jesus Christ died for?

4. Ask and trust

Ask and trust Jesus Christ to save your soul from hell and trust Him alone to take you to Heaven

Romans 10:13

“Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Believe the truth of Jesus Christ and Gods Word and receive the gift that God has so freely given you!

If you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, pray to Him with all sincerity of heart.

“Dear Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and that I need to be saved. I believe that Jesus died in my place on the cross in order to pay for my sin. Please forgive me, a sinner. Come into my heart and save my soul. Right now, I receive Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and only Savior. Amen”
